  • Descriptions

Sponsored by Blue Goji and the Fung Institute of University of California Berkeley, we are missioned to design a scaled-down omnidirectional treadmil. Inspired from the previous effort, we are targetting to optimize the product design and the controls sectors of the treadmill by redesigning the components. I am in charge of leading the controls team to design a user-driven adaptive controller that follows the speed of the user to keep the user in place. This design has the potential to revolutionize rehabilitation for walking and reimagine the expereince in the world of Virtual Reality. The project is currently in its design phase, and we target to prototype it in the following school semester. Due to the non-disclosure agreement, no further details can be revealed.
